Our class had the chance to spend time with Firefighter Bill from the Caldwell Fire Department today, learning about fire safety. The students listened and learned about the dangers of fire and the safe ways to exit their house if it catches on fire. We learned how to keep safe while cooking and what to do in case we can't get our of our 
homes the way we're used to. The students even had the chance to practice a safety drill, escaping from a pretend fire in the Fire Safety Trailer.What did you learn from Firefighter Bill today? Could you give us some advice on how to be safe in case of a fire at your home?

It was so much fun! It had a mini kitchen, living room and bathroom! Plus, there were benches in each room!

I thought the Fire Safety House was awesome! When my class went I saw the guy push a button in the sink in the kitchen and a fire alarm went off. I thought it was cool when the smoke came out. It was raining so the ladder was very slippery!
I think it was not that fun to smell the smoke. But it was cool to see what it feels like in a burning building.But it was only a truck thing.

I was the 2nd to last out and I was the fist one to get smoked , It ROCKED
It was sunny when we did it and somebody from are class stayed in the building so Firefighter Bill had to pretend save him. My eye's got a little watery when the fog turned on but thats just because I have azma.

I liked the fire safety house. I was the first one out so I wasnt in the smoke. But I wished I was. But I still had alot of fun.
