New Class, New Responsibilities

Now that we've gotten a chance to meet our new classmates, I hope you've been enjoying the first few days of third grade in 3P! I think most of you would agree that third grade students at SBS will learn to take on more responsibilities than they have in past years. Since you're the "seniors" of the school, teachers will ask more of you, and have high expectations for your behavior at school and in the classroom.

How do you think your responsibilities will grow this year as a third grader? How will you act more responsibly as one of the "seniors" of the school? How will having these responsibilities also be more fun? Do you think you're up to the challenge?

Dear Mr.Palladino,I think my responsibilities would grow by:when I get older I"m more responsible!
I think I'll be more responibly when I'm the senior in SBS by:being more mature,my homework,my parents signing my agenda, and bringing my homework home and bringing my homework back and my parents signing forms.
Having these responsibilities are fun because you get things right, you are more mature, and your on the ball!
I'm up for the challenge!
Your Student,
Emily Boyland

I've had a relaxing weekend so far...I went out to dinner with my wife on Friday, had some friends over for a visit on Saturday, and met my family for a Barbecue at my parents' house today. I'm looking forward to a super week at school!

I'm going to have more responsibilities each week, as I read and do classwork for a college course I'm taking. Just like my third graders, I've got so many new responsibilities this year!
