I had so much fun walking around and seeing all the awesome animals there! The Monorail was one of my favorite parts. We got to see elephants, rhinos, and the red panda! Did you see all the baby animals at the zoo? The gorillas in the Congo were WILD! When one of the large gorillas was near the glass, a girl waved to him AND HE WAVED BACK!! Walking through JungleWorld and seeing the fantastic animals made me feel like I was actually in a rainforest!
Every SBS student (and SBS teacher) I saw today had a huge smile on his or her face and wanted to tell me stories about the animals they visited. I would love to hear about your favorite part of the field trip....

the trip was pretty good. I saw a gorilla that was poking its stomach and then put its fingers in its mouth! I think they should add a polar bear exibit. My favorite part was going on the monorail. Thats all.
What goes on? I loved the Bronx Zoo! The red pandas and tigers were so cute!I got to see all of the animals that my Daddy and I planned out to see. If the Bronx Zoo could add another exhibit I would hope that they put in a koala exhibit!

the trip was aeusome I had alot of fun. My favorite animal was the american alligator because it's my animal and it was a baby.I went on the monorail saw a bunch of animals on the monorail.
My favorite animal was the Prarire dog.The Prarire dog was my animal.You can go in a tube.It was really hot if you stay in the tube. I went on the monorail.The red panda was cute. We ate at the benches. I had a penutbutter sandwitch.
My favorite part of the trip was going in the tunnel and popping up in holes to see the prarie dogs. It was like your a prarie dog and your right next to them watching them eat. My favorite animal was the Prarie dog because there so cute and tiny and they do really cool things. After the monerail we had lunch and sat at the benches near the monerail. That was the Bronx zoo trip.

Our trip to the Bronx was a blast! I loved The prarie dogs. The babies were so cute! The monkey house was also neat. At lunch, a pair of geese kept coming over to try to get our food! One of the tigers was right near the glass, so I got a good picture of him. Anyway, the lemurs in the Madagascar exhibit were pretty cool too. I loved the Bronx Zoo!!
The trip was great. I think the Gorrilas were really funny! The King Cobra was really cool. I really thought the Zebras were realy cool also. To bad there were no Porcupins & the Penguins were'nt there

The Bronx Zoo trip was sooo.. MUCH fun. I really liked when I saw my animal. It was a polar bear. I saw it twice. I liked it better the second time beacause it was swimming in the water playing with a stick and it looked EXTREMLY CUTE!! I also liked all the beautiful peacocks. They were everywhere!!There was also this slide that had a top and it was REALLY curvy!! Me , Cassie, Lena and Emily all went together two times! I liked JungleWorld alot because it was really dark and muggy and it actually felt like I was in the rainforest. If the Bronx Zoo could add an animal to there exhibits I would really hope it would be the two-toed-sloth. The two-toed-sloth is really cute and our group wanted to see it but it wasn't there. Overall the Bronx Zoo trip was LOADS of FUN!!!
Oh, and I wish they would put in a real panda, like Po from "Kung-Fu Panda", along with the rad panda.

I loved the bronx zoo! I was so mad that I didn't get to see my animal - the emperor penguin . I saw that a seal was being a showoff. It almost spit water in my face! That's what I saw at the bronx zoo!

My favorite thing at the bronx zoo was going on the MONORAIL and going to JUNGLE WORLD! I LOVED walking with my GROUP!!!! My favorite animals were ELEPHANTS,SEA OTTERS,POLAR BEARS,AND GRIZZLY BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't get to see all the animals that I wanted to see. But that's OK! I still got to see really COOL AND CUTE ANIMALS! I loved going to MADAGASCAR! If I would ADD one more animal to the EXHIBIT I would pick TWO-TOED SLOTH!!! We didn't get to see them and I really wanted to! I hope I could go again with my family! The BRONX ZOO was so EXCITING!!!!

I liked the JungieWorld because you saw the monkeys and a tree kangeroo!!!. You also saw the CREEPY ... BBUUGGSS!!!!!!!
iF THE Bronx Zoo had to add a animal I would pick the Ferrits because it would be cool to see them.

I loved the Bronx zoo trip!
I saw lots of baby animals. For example, prairie dogs, and rhinoceroses. It's sad I didn't get to see my animal (the two toed sloth) because the gouvornment took it away because the Bronx Zoo couldn't afford it. It's sad, but I know I'm going to see lots of them one day. Cassie, Amrita, Emily and I also went on the monorail and saw lots of animals. It felt like we were going to fall! My favorite animal was the Red Panda. I saw it curled up it a tree.It was very cute! I would've loved to see the sloth but at least I got to see the other
amazing anamals!
On the bronx zoo trip it was great.
My group got to see all our animals. Weall got to see some of our friends and classmates a long the way. We saw a lot of cool animals some animals in the Madagascar. We had snacks while eating on a bench. We saw the American Alligator,theNile Crocodile,and the Bald Eagle. I will never forget the day we went to the Bronx Zoo.
The Bronx Zoo was great! My favorite part was jungle world because the animals were great and the moisture in the air made it feel like a real jungle! Though the trip mwas great I didn't get to see my animal the porcupine andI wanted to see some of the animals in the region of Antarctia.
I always wanted to go to the Bronx Zoo and I finally did. My favorite part was the baboon exibit. My animal was the baboon too.I also liked the monarail.
My favorite animal was the mice in the mouse house. Thier was a window that looked like a porch. Thier was a boot and mice were crawling inside it. They shoud have a bat at the zoo.

Those are some great memories....It's too bad that some of your animals weren't there. Make sure to take another trip to the Bronx Zoo or another zoo to find the animals you like!
I forgot to tell my class about the LIONS! Near the African Plains section, the teachers and I kept hearing this very loud, low GRUNTING sound. The sound echoed all through that section of the park, but we didn't know what it was. When we finally came near the lion exhibit, we knew it was the male lion making all that noise.
If that was just a grunt, I could imagine how powerful the lion's ROAR must be! Maybe I'll get to hear it next time from a safe distance! No wonder he's "King of the Jungle"!
