Presidents Day is on the third Monday of February each year. It is a day Americans celebrate the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. These men were great leaders in times of war and we honor them with monuments in Washington, D.C. and in countless other ways. We know their jobs weren't easy, and it must be difficult for them to accomplish all that they want in only the time they have in office.Imagine that you were elected president for only one week! What would you try to accomplish in that time for America and its citizens? What things about our country would you change? What would you do with the authority as President of the United States?

If I could be presadent for 1 week, their wouldn't be to many changes I would make, but the chages I would make would be realy small. The changes that i would make, are, that you can vote no mater how old you are. Another rule would be if a person merders someone they will get merdered.
Hi! I'm up in New Paltz NY with my Grandpa while my Grandma is in Africa! They have lots of horses too!! If I was president for a week I would try too end world hunger by giving them fresh yummy meals... and maybe some dessert. I don't really want to be president... It's ALOT of work! I would change the United States of America by not letting people smoke and not letting people spit gum on the ground. I would also not let any one use tobacco. I think that being president for 7 days is a good amount of time. Maybe 2 weeks is better. I would make more dance studios, rock climbing walls, swimming pools, fake beaches, horse arenas, toy stores, places that only sold gum, more places to rollerblade, more places to get rollerblades and ice skates. That would be really great!!!!!!!!!! I think everyone should vote for me for president! I would also make more hospitals and any emergency squad things. That would be nice if all of this could actually come true. That would be a miracle. Wouldn't it?
If I was president I would make more jobs more money and more ice cream. I would half like it and half hate it because I quod never get a break I would like it because I would have power.
If I could be president for 1 week, I would make more sidewalks so that people who don't have a car could walk safely. But to make that happen first I would have to make a no idling zone so poeple wouldn't have to wear face masks when they walk to work or home. I think that it is a good thing to encourage people to walk more and to not drive and wast their money. I want people to walk more, burn calories, and be HEALTHIER!!!!!!!!

if I were elected president for 1 week,I would build more parks,more gyms and more schools.
At day, school is normal,but at night, 7:00 o'clock, is a party that lasts 50 minutes for the good kids that do well during the following day at class. If you do well at class,your teacher might invite you to the party.
The parks well be very new and beautiful.
And the gyms will be the best,they will have lots of rock walls,some bean stalks to climb and very fancy gyms.
And there will be flying cars,hope they don't run out of gas. But luckily they have cushions.
And floating gas stations.
If I don't feel like being a president,I will vote for others.

If I could be president for one week I would try to end world hunger by donating food from our stores to people who need it.I think we waste too much food!Then I would give more money to help find a cure for cancer.Being president for one week would be cool!
If I was president for 1 week I would let kids eat junk food as much as they want. Make their teachers give them no homework. Make the school principal give them better food to order and have less school. Even better, no school days. For voting you can be any age. That's what I would change if I was priciple for 1 week.
Hi Mr. Palladino I used to be in your class now i'm in 6th grade, and your class got me ahead of everyone, and I'm being moved up to excelerated math. Thanks you were the teacher that made me like math.
